Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-07-30
These Terms govern your use of Praxis (the “Service”), operated by Miyamoto Process & Performance Consulting OÜ, a company registered in Estonia (“the Company”, “we”). By using Praxis you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Not a medical device
Praxis is an informational and educational tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition, and it does not provide medical advice or return-to-play / clinical clearance. Clinician-oriented features are informational support for qualified professionals; clinical decisions remain the professional’s. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical concerns. Do not disregard professional advice because of anything in the Service.
Use at your own risk / safety
Physical training carries inherent risk. You are responsible for training safely, using appropriate supervision and equipment, and stopping if you feel pain or discomfort. Measurements and coaching are estimates and may be inaccurate; do not rely on them as your sole basis for training or health decisions.
Coaching & improvement suggestions
Praxis generates automated feedback and improvement suggestions. These are general in nature, may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your body, level, or condition, and are not a substitute for a qualified coach, trainer, or healthcare professional. You are solely responsible for deciding whether and how to act on any suggestion, and for doing so safely. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company is not responsible or liable for how you apply, or for the results of applying, any suggestion, cue, drill, or programming provided by the Service, including any injury, loss, or damage.
Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use Praxis. You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete Account).
Recording others & minors
If you record or upload footage of anyone other than yourself, you confirm you have the right and any necessary consent to do so. If a person in your footage is a minor, you confirm that you are their parent or legal guardian, or that you have obtained the guardian’s consent, to record them and to have the footage and derived movement data processed to provide the analysis. You are solely responsible for obtaining these permissions. We offer on-device face-blurring, which we recommend whenever footage includes minors, and you can delete uploaded content at any time.
Subscriptions & payments
- Praxis offers auto-renewing subscriptions and/or in-app purchases. Prices are shown in the app before purchase.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-renewal: a subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Managing / canceling: you can manage or cancel in your Apple ID settings (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions) after purchase. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Specific plans, prices, and any free-trial terms are presented in the app before you purchase and may vary by region.
- Purchases are handled by Apple and subject to Apple’s terms; refunds are governed by Apple’s policies.
Credits
- Praxis meters detailed movement analysis using credits. On-device rep counting and tracking are always free; credits are consumed only when you run an analysis, and the amount depends on the depth of analysis you choose.
- Paid subscriptions include a recurring monthly allotment of credits that resets each month and does not roll over. A weekly usage cap applies to this allotment, as shown in the app. For annual plans you are billed once per year and the monthly allotment is made available each month.
- Credit packs are one-time (consumable) in-app purchases that add credits to your balance. Pack credits do not expire, are not subject to the weekly cap, and stack on top of any plan.
- Credits have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are non-transferable. Once consumed, credits are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or Apple’s policies.
- The current plans, credit allotments, caps, and prices are presented in the app before purchase and may change over time.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the Service: no unlawful use, no uploading content you lack the right to record/share, no attempts to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service, and no uploading of other people’s recordings without their consent.
Your content
You retain ownership of the recordings and data you upload. You grant us a limited license to process and store that content solely to provide the Service (including sending derived data to our analysis provider to generate analysis), as described in the Privacy Policy.
Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding your uploads), is owned by the Company and its licensors and is protected by law.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law, including any warranty of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any injury arising from your training or reliance on the Service. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim or €50. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud).
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Estonia have jurisdiction over any dispute, except that if you are a consumer in the EU you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence, and you retain the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection laws that apply there.
Changes
We may update these Terms; we will revise the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
